INTRODUCTION

The solubilized organic matter in cassava processing wastewater typically includes carbohydrates, proteins, and other residues, leading to high Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) (Udom et al., 2022).

Cyanide, a toxic compound commonly found in cassava processing water, results from the breakdown of cyanogenic glycosides present in cassava (Mora et al., 2021).
