INTRODUCTION

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Antirrhinum majus, commonly known as Snapdragon, is an attractive and widely cultivated ornamental plant prized for its colorful and uniquely shaped flowers. The success of Snapdragon as an ornamental species largely depends on its growth and flowering characteristics, which can be significantly influenced by various environmental factors, including nutrient availability. Among the essential nutrients for plant growth, potassium (K) plays a crucial role in regulating numerous physiological processes, such as photosynthesis, enzyme activation, and osmotic balance.

Our findings will contribute to a deeper understanding of the nutrient requirements of Antirrhinum and provide valuable insights for the development of sustainable and efficient fertilization practices in ornamental plant cultivation.

To achieve these objectives, we conducted a controlled greenhouse experiment, employing a randomized complete block design, with multiple treatment groups receiving potassium application at different growth stages.
