Abstract

Variations in flight exposure can influence the likelihood of insured events and are therefore relevant to the determination of aviation insurance premiums. The study examines the effect of flight exposure levels on aviation insurance premiums. It will assess how differences in flight exposure influence premium levels and examine the relationship between flight hours, flight frequency, aircraft utilization, claim experience, and insurance pricing.
