The study will assess farmers’ exposure to extension education and determine how such education influences their adoption of recommended practices in turkey production. It will also examine the extent to which farmers apply knowledge gained through extension education in the management of their turkey enterprises. The study will focus on agricultural extension education   Farmers’ knowledge of turkey production   Housing management   Brooding   Feeding   Watering   Breed selection   Stocking   Sanitation   Vaccination   Disease prevention   Biosecurity   Record keeping   And general flock management. It will also consider farmers’ participation in extension training   Demonstrations   Advisory visits   And other educational activities related to improved turkey production. A quantitative research approach will be adopted for the study. Data will be collected from selected turkey farmers using structured questionnaires designed to obtain information on their exposure to agricultural extension education and adoption of turkey production practices. The data will be analysed using descriptive statistics   Frequency distributions   Percentages   Mean scores   Correlation analysis   And regression analysis to determine the relationship between extension education and farmers’ adoption of recommended turkey production practices. The study is expected to reveal that agricultural extension education may have a positive effect on farmers’ adoption of turkey production practices.
